Meet
“Hi I’m Rima Theisen. When it comes to my hair loss journey, I go through ups and downs. Mainly, I feel empowered but there are days when I go through the ‘why me?’ feelings. I think this is normal when grieving the loss of your hair. The main thing I want people to take away from this campaign is that hair loss doesn’t define you as a person. You’re still ‘you’ inside! Let it strengthen you, and allow you to build your own foundations for a future full of love and power. Anyway, all sorts of haircuts are trendy these days, right?!
I feel I have a duty to let the world know that it’s ok for a woman to experience hair loss and still feel the same strength and beauty she did beforehand. Hair loss is so under-researched, and so anything I can help do to bring about awareness can only be a good thing."

A. I’m training to be a secondary school English teacher. I love knowing that I’m making a difference to children’s lives!
A. Apart from school books, I have a little bit of an obsession with Gold rRadio – I love a golden oldie! My husband and I are currently watching all the Marvel Films in timeline order. It’s the highlight of my days, ha!
A. My facial skincare is very minimal, but I use Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream under my eyes every evening. I got asked for ID in Sainsbury’s the other day, so something must be working!
A. My hair is currently in the active stage of shedding again, so I’m very careful with what I use. I do love MONPURE’s Hydrate and Soothe Scalp Serum though – my head feels really nourished afterwards, and not dry at all!

A. My children. But only when they’re being cute, which they’re not always!
A. Meeting some fabulous women who are also experiencing hair loss. Their hearts and souls really reflect the journey they’re going through.
A. That it only affects ‘coin sized patches’ of your head – I lost all the hair on my entire body!
A. My sister in law’s wedding in the USA, qualifying as a teacher, my husband qualifying as a lawyer, and drinking ice cold rosé in my garden!
A. Just that for anyone who is struggling with hair loss, I’m always here to chat and offer support. Hit me up on my insta page, @thebaldmama !!!
