Clean & Efficient Formulas
By ‘clean’ we mean plant-based, nourishing formulas that care for your scalp and the planet, minimal processing and synthetic chemicals. At the same time we know that ‘natural’ doesn’t always mean ‘safe’ or ‘better’, so we’re mindful of pH levels and safety.
Recycled & Recyclable Materials
Our packaging shouldn’t end up in a landfill – the glass bottles can be fully recycled and our plastic containers are both recycled and recyclable. We print using soy ink and use recyclable paper as well as compostable packaging chips.
Dermatologically Tested
All of our formulas have been rigorously tested to the highest standards in our German laboratories, to ensure they’re supremely gentle on your scalp – while delivering everything it needs to flourish.
Free from Silicones, Sulphates and Parabens
No ingredients are “bad” per se, but we’ve left out a few we deem questionable and too harsh for the delicate skin on your scalp – this includes silicones, parabens and sulphates.
Cruelty-free, PETA Approved
At MONPURE we care as much about the planet’s furry inhabitants as we do your hair. All of our testing processes at every stage of the production process are cruelty-free and we have been certified by global animal rights organisation Peta.

These are supercharged in our German laboratories so they can work at their full potential. We make sure to only work with suppliers whose sustainability ethos falls in line with ours.
Vegan, No Animal Derivatives
We believe that animal products have no place in our beauty regimes, given there are so many viable alternatives. For example, we've found a special kind of vegan silk peptide – produced from fermented plant starch (instead of using silkworms, as is common practice).
